Installation and data
CMT is a Windows desktop application that reads the Codex data folder you select.
- A trial is available before purchase
- CMT does not prove that a cloud task is currently executing
- Database maintenance waits until Codex is closed
Backups and recovery
Safe deletion sends recoverable material to the configured backup area.
- Retention can clean eligible backups on a schedule
- You can manually clear eligible backups after confirmation
- Restore verifies integrity and handles name conflicts
Purchase and support
Payment occurs externally, while serial registration is completed inside CMT.
- Keep receipts and order references
- Redact serials and private paths from support evidence
- Use the health check before opening a support request
Why does refresh run again?
CMT groups file changes and processes only records that changed, but a new change can schedule another pass.
- Pause automatic refresh during heavy local maintenance
- Check the actual change count before rescanning manually
- Use the last-refresh time to distinguish old and new results
Can I change language or computer?
The interface supports Traditional Chinese, English, and Japanese, and migration is handled through verified export and import.
- Language changes do not translate conversation content
- Preview migration contents before export
- Handle license deactivation separately from data migration
